Exhibition Design for Melbourne Fashion Week

As part of Melbourne Fashion Week, Every Cloud Productions partnered with MangoTree Media to design the exhibition graphics for the official Ms Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries costume exhibition.

Featuring costumes, production design and behind-the-scenes insights from the internationally acclaimed television series distributed by Acorn TV, the exhibition invited visitors into the glamorous world of 1960s fashion and television production. The design needed to complement the quirky retro style of the series while allowing the costumes and storytelling to remain the hero.

The approach

Exhibition graphics should enhance an experience—not compete with it.

The design focused on creating a clean, elegant visual language that reflected the luxurious aesthetic of Ms Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries, while guiding visitors naturally through the exhibition.

Attention was given to hierarchy, readability, typography and spatial flow, ensuring guests could engage with the stories behind each costume and production element without distracting from the exhibition itself.
