The challenge was to respect and retain the existing retro style brand while redesigning the website, introducing a cohesive merchandise line, and strengthening digital marketing to better support vendors, engage visitors, and future-proof the market’s online presence.

Mullumbimby Farmers Market already had a strong, community-built identity with a relaxed, retro feel that reflects the culture of Mullum itself. The approach focused on honouring that spirit and visual language, refining and extending the existing brand rather than reshaping it.
This carried through into a refreshed website, a cohesive merchandise line, and supporting digital marketing that felt local, welcoming, and authentic. Every decision was guided by the market’s role as a community hub, making it easier for visitors to find, engage with, and support the market while preserving the character and values that make it distinctly Mullumbimby.
